A truly Alaskan Art Studio in Indian Valley, Alaska. The Amanda Faith Alaska Paintings offers private workshops and classes on design and art, paint on commission, and shows at various galleries and fairs. Her artwork is available at fine shops and cafes in Girdwood and showings are by appointment.
Meet the Artist
My grandparents picked these cliffs and coast south of Anchorage for their Alaskan homesteader dream. Today I paint, design, teach and host along the same beautiful land and sea.
Sensitive colors, harmonious design, wonder about wildlife and land, and quiet moments in the northern light and land describe my artwork. I have experienced painting as a way of seeing deeper into the precious gift of life we each have as I observe the living creatures and environments around me.
I grew up observing and sketching the sunsets over Anchorage from my mountain side home. At Hillsdale College in Michigan, I took one-design class and was immediately found a language my heart knew but had yet to learn the technical skills to express. I have ever since been creating, teaching, and taking classes between Alaska, Europe, and Miami. My work now focuses on the ever-changing beauty and wild places of Turnagain Arm near Anchorage, Alaska.

Amanda Faith has multiple types of paintings for sale on her website. Sizes range from small sizes, like 5x5, to as large as 16x16.
You can also find mugs and stickers with her beautiful paintings on them.
Her silk printing scarves and earrings are unique and a must have!
Art Classes
Spend some quality time with friends and family old or new and make art to take home, all in a beautiful natural setting in Indian Valley, Alaska. Led by certified art teacher and 3rd generation Alaskan Amanda Faith Thompson.
