The Festival
This is a wonderful celebration of the lush blueberry season. This family-oriented outdoors event features FREE live music, berry picking, local arts and crafts booths, tasty blueberry treats, beer and wine garden, hiking, biking, and pie eating contest.
Pie Eating Contest
How fast can you eat a blueberry pie with no hands? The Pie Eating Contest will be both Saturday and Sunday at 3:45pm. But you must sign up at the Information Booth by 3:15pm to compete!
Berry Picking
Everywhere around Alyeska is excellent for Berry picking. Head up Blueberry Hill or towards the Northface and Winner Creek to find the delectable treat! Don’t forget your bucket and picking tools.

Vendors from all over the state will be at the festival. Enjoy a blueberry drink, purchase that special soap or find that gorgeous necklace. Whatever your heart desires, you’ll find it at the BlueBerry Festival!
NOTE: Parking may be limited. Car pool as much as possible and be aware that parking at the resort may not be possible.

The Festival is located on Alyeska Resort grounds, in our alpine oasis next to the lower tram terminal and pond. The Alyeska Resort address is 1000 Arlberg Ave, Girdwood, Alaska 99587.
