About Us

The Ice Cream Shop has served the Girdwood Community for over 15 years. We love serving guests our unique ice cream treats, our fabulous espresso drinks, and our locally handmade gourmet chocolates. Come in and try our cinnabun and cinnapretizels with coffee for an extra treat.

We love nothing more than giving back to our small, wonderful community. We actively support Mighty Mites Ski Club and local non-profits.

We have a large collection of historical photos from the Girdwood Valley and love talking about our town. So, come on in, grab a treat and peruse our local photo gal!ery. You’ll be happy you did because who doesn’t love Ice Cream!

Cuisines & Services

We have over 35 different flavors of Ice Cream and many of them are uniquely Alaskan. Come in and try these local favorites: Fireweed & Honey, Alaskan Wildberry, Glacier, and Polar Bear!

“Fireweed and honey ice cream rules my brain. I had it one time and I still dream about it. Had a scoop of that and a scoop of glacier which is like gingerbread and had always been my favorite flavor ice cream until fireweed. I was not disappointed. Amazing ice cream! I'd live through the four hellish flights to AK again for this alone!”

We also have soft serve ice cream, shakes, malts and non-dairy treats for our lactose intolerant customers!
